About Us

Our Story

Expanding Impact Across California

Founded as Housing for Health Orange County (HHOC), our journey began with a deep commitment to dismantle barriers to stable housing by addressing both immediate shelter needs and the broader aspects of health—physical, mental, and emotional. In Orange County, we built a robust model of support that included:

Housing Navigation

Services

Housing Deposits

Housing Sustainability & Tenancy

Day Habilitation

Enhanced Care Management

Short-term Post-Hospitalization

Through our partnerships and collaboration with local service providers, we made meaningful strides in supporting Orange County’s unhoused population.

In 2025, buoyed by the success and impact of our Orange County initiatives, we embraced a new chapter by expanding our services statewide under the banner of Housing for Health California (HHCA).

This expansion reflects our dedication to bringing holistic, community-driven support to every corner of the state. By scaling our proven model, we aim to bridge funding, resource, and service gaps on a broader scale, ensuring that all Californians have access to the comprehensive care they deserve. Our statewide approach leverages local expertise and collaborative networks to create a resilient infrastructure capable of transforming lives across diverse communities.

Day Habilitation

At HHCA, our story is one of growth, unity, and unwavering commitment to the whole human. We continue to honor our legacy while pioneering innovative solutions that promise a brighter, more inclusive future for all who call California home.
